Regarding queue position on dashboard

Dear Andy, I have been observing that my queue position is decreasing everyday despite the fact that there is no grant provided to anyone as DIBP is closed on 30/12, 31/12 &1/1. Is it normal or a technical glitch. Thanks and regards, Abhijeet Singh

Hey,

There are multiply factors which can cause this.

The most common are however:

  1. Someone deletes the case.
  2. Someone’s case go inactive due to no activity.

Does the queue status is based on number of cases on this site only or is there any other calculation?

In this case it is the number of case.

We have tried to use the factoring, but it proved to be inaccurate, so we returned to basics number of cases in the queue.
