I’ve got a question about my application of resident permanent. I’ve submitted the application and maybe I’ve made a mistake in the fund requirement (enter only 14.000 Cad for me and my wife when filling the forms) but on the other hand my bank settlement says in total 28.000 CAD (for my both accounts: saving and current).
Do you think this can cause refusal or they will take the decision from bank statements? do I need to contact CIC and inform them?

Regarding the proof fund issue above, Doesn’t CIC request the banks to provide the actual amount on your account during the process? Let’s say when CIC checked the bank, the actual balance was 22000 instead of 24000 on his submitted bank statement, will that result in refusal? How do CIC actual assess the correctness of amount on bank statement apart from the bank statement submitted by applicants?
