Medicals for 189

Hi Guys, I am currently at onsite in Sydney on 457 work permit. My company is applying for the extension of my current visa which is getting expired in December 2016. My application will most likely be filed by November 15 2016. I had appeared for medical examination as required for 457 work permit in Sydney and have received positive clearance on medical. Question:- - I had submitted my EOI for 189 PR application with 65 points under 261313 category. Going by the current trend I am expecting to receive the invitation in the second round of November'16. So for 189 do I have to appear for entire medical examination again or just appearing for HIV test would be sufficient as medicals are valid for 1 year.

you would just need to do the additional tests that were not covered under employment visa scheme.. HIV is one of them which you would need to go for.
