Long wait for visa grant

Hi, i have applied for 189 PR visa (computer network system engineer )with 60 points on 30th April 2016, after 10 days CO contacted me for Police clearance and with in 15 days i had uploaded the Documents. but after that no communication from CO i have email him 2-3 time asking him if any other information is required let me know. its been 7 month and i have no idea where my application got stuck. please help me to know is this a normal time ? or when i cab expect my Visa. I will appreciate your quick response. Thank you !

Have you ever worked for secret police force or military? That might be the reason.

It might referred to external checks if u from high risk country which will take some time

I am from India and i never work with police force or military.

Some people never worked in such, but still had to go through the checks. We suspect that some people are just assigned to go through the external checks.

It seems that the name "Amit" is doubtful :)
