Interview request after PPR
Does anyone has the same situation? PPR first and then interview request.
I got my PPR on Friday Aug 11 and then an interview request on Monday Aug 14. On the interview request letter it says :
“I am pleased to advise you that the processing of your application for permanent residence will be finalized at an interview
...
In order to grant you permanent residence, you must provide us with satisfactory original identity documents. All
applicants must provide their original valid passport at the landing interview."
They mentioned landing interview but my passport is even in transit to Ottawa VO.
And my consultant says this is a regular interview not the landing, but why they set an interview after requesting my passport?
