Import application option in immi account

Hi Can some one tell what is use of import application option in my immi account,

will it create confusion to CO that one application is getting reflected in two mail ids

some applicants who use consultant, would import their application into their own account to monitor.

I’ve never heard of it causing confusion to a CO.
