How long to wait after completing newborn medicals for resumed 189 aapplication

Hi,

We completed the medicals for our new-born , who was added by the CO as an additional applicant on 1 Feb. 2018 and IP was clicked on 02 Feb 2018. How many days do we need to wait for an update from CO regarding grant.

Some wait 4-5-6 months. No fixed timeline, you need to hope for better.

I would at least wait calmly for 3 months before reaching out to them.

Hi Jithin James,

I’m in the same boat. I added my newborn’s birth certificate, passport and medicals by 9th Feb 2018. Medicals showed completed for us in ImmiAccount and it said “No Action Required”. The information provided button is greyed out, not sure if my agent clicked on it. I’m not sure what’s next. I did write to GSM allocated that the medicals are completed and to process the visa but there is no response. How long will it take for the visa grant from medicals completion? I’ve applied for 190 PR.

I would say not to hope for anything to come through in less than 8-12 weeks, that an average response after CO contact.

I don’t think this is completely true… if you analyze last year statistics then many cases were granted almost after 1 to 1.5 months of information provided.

However, I agree that the average response time is 8-12 weeks.
