Email Notifications from CIC after submitting Visa application

Hello All:

Can some one tell me when exactly email notifications would come from CIC. The first and last email notification I have received was on 16th sep 2017 and which is exactly 2 days after my medicals passed. Does this mean I am in NA 2 now?? I heard that the BG status BG changes from NA 1 to IP 1 and quickly moves from IP 1 to NA 2… I don’t know if I am in NA 1 or NA 2. By the way my e-APR was on Sep 4 2017.

But if I know when CIC sends emails may be I can corelate this with my BG status…Any thoughts??

You will get notifications:

  • Passport Request
  • ADR (additional document request)

I think that’s it.

You are in NA2 as you already had IP1 (seems like it)… so the next stage is IP2.
