Australia General Skilled Migration Changes - 1 July 2017

I just came to know that the maximum age for the Skilled Independent Subclass 189 visa will be reduced from 49 to 44. My DOB is 22-Jul-1973 and I will turn 44 on 22-Jul. Is that limitation going to impact my case? I have submitted EOI on 26-Apr-2017 (Points - 65). Is it 44 yrs + 364 days or 44 yrs + 0 days? Please revert. Thanks Shakeel Ahmed

Until you are 45 years old, you are 44 years old as simple as that. So even if you are 44 years and 364 days old, you're still considered a 44 years old person. Hope it helps.
