Any luck contacting CO by email?

Hi all, I was sent a request for more information on Feb 6 to which I replied the next day and have since sent 3 emails to point out the fact that they very likely made an incorrect assumption... It's been more than 7 working days and no response or grant. A mate of mine who applied for the visa on the SAME day with SAME qualification and SAME case officer was also asked for further documents and got his visa granted this week, although by a different case officer. Thanks,
