About IMMI assessment Commence mail

i received IMMI assessment commence mail (no docs asked) from gsm brisbane on 9th april,,, my lodgement date is 25 march,,, is getting such mail, a positive thing or negative???? for the processing time,,, data shows that those have received such mail needed to wait more,,, is it true???

Its neither negative, not so much positive, it means that CO has started to work on your case and assessment is in progress...

Hi kmlsunny, I also got the same email. Could you please update your status now? Were you granted visa? Please help me as I got the same "IMMI Assessment Commence" email. :(

Hi ,

Sailing on same boat!!! I applied for SC189 on 8th may,2017 as a primary applicant and my husband as dependent. We received an email on 27th June,2017 with subject line Immi Assessment Commence without requesting for additional documents. Application status is still in Received. Does this means it will take long time for grant? What does this mail mean?

Can anyone update your post that email you received.

Normally it is a positive sign of receiving grant faster. Mostly applicants who received this email, will be granted visa within 3 months from date of receiving of commencement email.
