Looking at the last few weeks it seems that the processing times have been absolutely slashed for some of the ‘latest lodgements’-that is to say for the lodgements dates after juli and onwards. CO contact dates down to 32 days, visa grant averaging 90 days and 66% more direct grants! On the DHA website the processing times were 11-15 months last september. In October it went to 9-11 months and Im wondering if this would be now around 3-6 months!? Does immigration suddenly has a deadline now to finish off the 489 applications, especially now its newcomer 491 and 191 has started and taken its place?

Which underpins the fact that, when required, processing is quick - its just fictional “delays” causing processing time to be blown out of proportions.
