189 Visa - Second Installment
I am about to apply for my PR (189 visa) with my husband as dependent. I wanted to know does he have to give IELTS or PTE exam (any English test)? I have read on this link https://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Visa/Fees that a second instalment has to be paid which is about $4885 if he doesn't provides proof of having functional English.
Can anyone please help me if i understood his right?

you are right. You have to pay $4885 if your dependent can't show proof of functional English knowledge (which is overall 4.5 in IELTS)
