189 and 190 for NSW

Hi, I submitted my EOI for 189 and 190 and I selected NSW state. EOI Date: 11/09/2017 Points: 65, (65+5=70) for NSW IELTS: L-7, R-7, W-7.5, S-7.5 ANZSCO CODE: 261313 Occupation: Software Engineer

can anyone advise whether there is a possibility to get an invitation? My points will reduce since I will loose points for age on May, 2018. Any advise or help is much appreciated.

At this stage, 70+5 2613** are being invited. 65+5 are not.

There are two options:

  1. Sc189 rounds will start clear up the backlog of 65, then 65+5 have a chance.
  2. Not anytime soon.

Is it possible to apply for both 189 and 190 at a time in skillselect? And which occupation gets more invites? Developer programmer or Software Engineer?
