Question regarding BGC status message

Hello Friends,

My BGC status was Not Applicable which has been turned from Not Applicable (1) to “Your application is in progress. We will send you a message when we start your background check.” after Medical Pass Message. Can any one tell me what exactly this status means. Is it IP1 or IP2? and How long will it take for the current BGC status to change? I’m EE FSW-Outlant Applicant.

Appreciate any assistance in advance!

It’s IP2. However, no one cay say how much will it takes for your application to pass this step and it depends on many factors.

Hi I have noticed similar situation. The system says “we are processing your background check” Neither it shows completion of IP 1 nor IP 2. This message appeared immediately after passing the medical check. I have been waiting for 9 months… no further update at all!
