Experience points for trade occupations

Hi all

Just one query related to experience points to be claimed or not. Below is the my point breakup Age 30 Edu 15 PTE 20 Total 65

Although I have experience of 5 years but is it possible to file EOI with 65 points (excluding experience points) Not sure if it’s mandatory to claim experience points or not. Just to avoid verification as employer is not ready to give me reference letter on letter head.

Got the reference letter from senior colleague for assessment. And it is positive.

Pls suggest…

you don’t have to claim points if you don’t want.

that’s totally your decision.

Hi Andy Thanks for your response. If I don’t claim then there will not be any employee verification… Even if I have a relevant experience of 6.5 years…

I think you shall claim experience Marks.

In case you dont claim then there will not be any employer verification for sure.

I know it will give me another 10 points but not sure what my employer will say in case he gets verification call or email… To avoid that risk I’m planning not to claim… But confused looking for response who had not claimed despite having 6-7 years of experience.

Bcoz co will always think why I M not claiming points for experience…
